DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER: Dimethicone Crosspolymer is a silicon-based polymer ingredient (dimethicone) modified with hydrocarbon side chains in the C3-C20 size range. It is used in a wide variety of cosmetics products.

Studies have concluded that Dimethicone can help protect skin suffering from sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) induced irritant contact dermatitis (ICD), and even prevented the formation of ICD in some cases.
