ISOPROPYL PALMITATE: Isopropyl Palmitate is an ester of isopropyl alcohol and palmitic acid. It is mainly used in skincare and haircare products as a emollient and thickening agent, increasing the moisture of the skin and improving hair luster and silkiness. It is also known to reduce the risk of eczema and dermatitis.

Known to be comedogenic (pore-clogging), potential side effects has been known to cause acne, blackheads, whiteheads and clogged pores if overused.
